The Walnuts School is a successful all age (4 – 19) special school for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders or social communication difficulties.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic teachers full-time only, to join our dedicated team of staff. Depending on the candidate, the role could either be in the Early Years, Primary or Secondary phase. Experience of working with children and young people with a diagnosis of autism is preferable but training will be provided. The ability to be flexible, innovative and reliable is highly desirable, as is a genuine empathy with children and young people. 

 

MPS or UPS + 1 or 2 SEN points depending on experience.
